ABYS ("we", "our", or "us") provides a media organization platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

2. Data Architecture & Encryption

ABYS is designed as a privacy-first application.

Zero-Knowledge Architecture: Your media library metadata, watch history, and configuration settings are encrypted on your device using a key that only you possess.

Cloud Synchronization: To facilitate synchronization between your devices, we store these encrypted binary blobs on our servers. Because we do not possess your decryption key, we cannot access, view, or analyze your personal usage data.

Self-Hosted Media: We do not host or have access to the actual media files you stream.

3. Information We Collect

We only collect data necessary to manage your account and validate your license:

• Account Information: We collect your email address to manage your account and license settings.
• License Validation: Your server may periodically contact our licensing server (`api.abys.app`) to verify the validity of your license key. This request includes your license key and a unique machine identifier.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application allows you to connect to third-party services (e.g., TMDB, Trakt). Your use of these services is governed by their respective privacy policies. ABYS acts only as a client interface for these services.
